Irvington Club
Waitlist Procedures
To ensure Club members
quality court usage, The Irvington Club Board of Trustees instituted
a membership cap in 1990. The current cap is 320 total Family,
Couple, and Single memberships. This number may be changed at
the Board's discretion.
A non-refundable
fee of $500 is charged to be placed on The Irvington Club waiting
list. This fee is applied toward the eventual Club membership
initiation. Initiation fees are fixed at the time an applicant
is placed on the waiting list. However, if an applicant declines
membership when their name comes up, they will be required to
pay the current initiation fee.
When an applicant
becomes eligible for membership, they may decline and be moved
25 spaces down on the waiting list. Declining a third time will
result in being dropped from the waiting list.
The top 25 on the
waiting list will be invited to become Associate Members. There
is a monthly fee associated with the program and it allows applicants
partial access to the Club as outlined in the next section.
Associate
Member Privileges
1. Eight (8) Day
of Play reservations per month for use of the tennis courts
(after 6:00 pm the night before). Cannot play on Day Previous
reservations.
2. Participation
on USTA League and City League Teams
3. Play in all Club
tournaments
4. Unlimited participation
in Men's/Women's Open Play
5. Access to clinics
and private lessons at members costs.
6. Unlimited use
of the weight room and spa
7. Ten (10) visits
to the pool per summer season.
8. A copy of the
membership roster, which includes Irvington Club rules and regulations.
9. May play with
members on Day Previous reservations as a guest according to
regular policy (guest fee and a maximum of twice a month).
