Head Tennis Professional

Cristobal Valverde

After Playing tennis for Woodburn High School and Oregon State University, Head Tennis Professional Cris Valverde began his teaching career as the Junior Development Program Coordinator for Kids 'N Tennis, a non-profit tennis organization located at The St. John's Racquet Center.

After four years with Kids 'N Tennis. Cris moved to Northern California working as a private coach and playing on the Nor Cal Open and Challenger Circuits. 

Returning to Portalnd in 2002, Cris became Head Teaching Pro here at The Irvington Tennis Club.  He has a USPTA Pro 1 Certification and has worked with the USTA as a National Clinician, Competitive Training Center Coach, and a Zonals Coach.
