CHRONOLOGICAL HISTORY - TENNIS: 1921 TO 1941

1921 Pacific Northwest Lawn Tennis Association, a section of the U.S. Lawn Tennis Association, replaces the North Pacific international Lawn Tennis Association) Oregon members are the Multnomah Amateur Athletic Club and the Irvington club.

1921 Phil Neer wins National Intercollegiate Singles title, playing for Stanford. He is the first winner from the West Coast.

1923 Henry S. Gray becomes President of the Pacific Northwest Lawn Tennis Association, serving 1923-1929
